A little about me
Hello, my name is Shannon and I am a certified grief coach and end-of-life guide dedicated to sitting alongside individuals and families while they navigate the deep emotion that comes with losing a loved one and life’s most difficult transitions.
My journey into this sacred work began in 2016 when I became a caregiver for my grandmother when her dementia started to progress. She lived with this decease for 8 years and the experience of watching your loved one decline gradually can bring intense emotions and a type of grief I didn’t know existed until experiencing it firsthand. As my family and I navigated these emotionally troubling times, I continued to educate myself on end-of-life care and in 2019 I started working in a Funeral Home where I was a service director and funeral arranger for 5 years. Guiding families through funeral planning, memorial services and the early stages of their grief. During that time, I witnessed the profound impact of compassionate support, meaningful remembrance, and having someone present to help navigate the many emotions that accompany loss.
In 2025, my family experienced another profound loss when my stepfather passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. That experience deepened my understanding of how grief can arrive without warning and forever change the landscape of our lives. It reinforced what I had already come to know: grief is not something to “get over,” but something we learn to carry with compassion, support, and meaning.
Whether you are facing the loss of a loved one, caring for someone at the end-of-life, or seeking guidance through a life transition, I am here to walk alongside you with warmth, empathy, and practical support.
